Fine and Graphic Art will host Maker’s Faire next week

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of Fine and Graphic Art will host the annual Maker’s Faire in Orville Hanchey Gallery next week.  Dates and times are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9 and 10 am.-5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10.

NSU alumna creates scholarship honoring grandmother, a long-time Avoyelles educator

CDC cuts ribbon on new trike track

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Marie Shaw Dunn Child Development Center hosted a ribbon cutting for the school’s new trike track and track naming ceremony Nov. 19.  Members of the CDC family, administrators and community officials were present for the event.

NATCHITOCHES – The annual American Indian Crafts Day scheduled for Saturday Dec. 4 at the Williamson Museum on the Northwestern State University campus has been cancelled.

Fall Robotics Competition set for Dec. 1

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of Engineering Technology will host its Fall Robotics Competition and Smart Structures Show (RC&S3) Dec. 1. All middle schools within a 200-mile radius of Natchitoches city are welcome to participate in the competition.
